Released in 2006, by American song & dance group (and former burlesque troupe) The Pussycat Dolls, "Buttons" is a single from their 2005 debut album "PCD." It followed previous singles "Don't Cha" & "Stickwitu," and continued with their record of global success, by becoming the first female group in history to sell over 2 million digital copies (each) for 3 consecutive singles. "Buttons," a pop/R&B song with hip hop, Arabic, and synth influences, reached the no.1 spot in 3 countries, and hit the top ten in over a dozen other countries (including no.3 in both the USA & the UK):
